SUMMARY:NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Class
DESCRIPTION:Course Goal: \nTo develop NRA Range Safety Officers who possess the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\, conducting\, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. \nSubjects Include: \n\nDefining the role of the Range Safety Officer (RSO).\nThe purpose of range Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).\nProcedures for inspecting a range prior to live fire.\nConducting a range safety briefing.\nEmergency procedures.\nHow to safely unload guns and correct  stoppages and malfunctions.\n\nAlthough this classroom does not have live fire\, we will be clearing dummy rounds from various types of firearms throughout class. \nThis course also has an integrated DoD Stop The Bleed course. \nStudents must be at least 21 years old. \nNo live ammunition in the classroom is allowed. \nRegister here
